Chivas hosts Monterrey tonight in what should be the game of the week in Mexico. These teams are deservedly 2nd and 3rd in the Primera Divison. When these teams meet it usually means goals and lots of them. Last 3 matches a total of 16 goals, looking further down the last 10 times they've met, 8 have gone over with a total of 35 getting into the net. Look for that to continue tonight.

Monarcas are in desperate need of 3 points as they travel to Santos tonight. Monarcas have not fared well with 1W 3L and losing 3 straight. Looking closer at their matches they've had it very tought, 2-1 win at Tijuana, 0-1 Pumas, 2-0 Monterrey, 1-2 Chivas. So their last 3 matches have been loses to the 3 best teams in Mexico. Added to that they lost 1-0 to Alajuelense midweek who are arguably the best team in Costa Rica. Going with Monarcas to get a win against possibly one of their weakest opponents they've played in sometime.

The Game has been suspended because some gunshots were heard on the stadium...amazing. That is horrible for the fans and the show. Hopefully everything will be ok.

I watched in youtube and also in some other places how all the players started to run to the locker room!

Adn then some of the fans started to run inside the field!

I had it on when all the running started, everyone looked scared.

Could very well be, the only note on this match is:

If puebla loses this game the coach will be fired. How much does the players like their coach?
Also 2 key player are from Pumas are out, Martin Bravo and Paco Palencia, it will be a good idea to see if they can make it back in the line up.

If puebla tries extra hard they can pull a draw or even a suprising win (less likely but possible). Puebla has some pretty good players, they just don't have their stuff together.

Not having done much research on the game I like Pumas in this spot having picked up 2 points in their last 2 matches to get the full 3 tomorrow. Puebla should fire their coach. They've looked absolutely horrible, IMO.
