I like America, was almost gonna play that but left it out.

I stayed away from totals just because I thought I remembered when there's a short week in Mexico games went under. Didn't have time to look this up though.

Cruz Azul travels to Pachuca tonight. Getting Cruz Azul at this price is very good value IMO. I don't like Pachuca one bit, they came back from 2-0 down to draw against Puebla on Sunday. Don't expect them to get points in 2 straight games. This is a short week for Mexican teams. Pachuca 2 days rest, Cruz Azul 3 days rest. Plus I think Cruz is the better team.

UNAM Pumas +118 (2X)
Pumas hosts Monterrey tonight in what should be the game of the week in Mexico. I think Pumas might be the best team in Mexico. I was not impressed with Monterrey's defense one bit in their 4-2 win against Tijuana. Tijuana could of actually put in a few more. Also the last 4 between these two has seen a Home Win. Let's take Pumas and the +118 which is a gift.

Atlante +124 (1X)
Expecting Atlante to grab their first win at home tonight against a Puebla team I'm not fond of. Puebla won on the road against Atlas and drew at home when they were up 2-0 to Pachuca. Atlante hasn't scored yet losing 0-2 to Chivas and 3-0 to Santos Laguna. Expect Atlante to change that at home tonight against a Puebla team they can beat.

Just got home, looks like Atlante just went up 2-0, Pumas up 1-0, Cruz Azul scoreless. As I'm typing this Monterrey just scored, Latin's Pumas-Monterrey over looking good

Blackpool pk +133 (.5X)
Blackpool travels to Hull today to kickoff the Championship. Blackpool have lost Charlie Adam and DJ Campbell in the transfer market but I think they'll still have enough to see off Hull City. Hull will be without Striker Aaron Mclean. Small play on this one.

Santos Laguna hosts newly promoted Tijuana tonight. Tijuana has been competitive in their first 2 matches, tied 1-1 late at home to Monarcas to lose 1-2 and a 0-2 lead against Monterrey only to lose 4-2. Santos on the other hand has destroyed their first 2 opponents Pacheco and Atlante by a combined score 7-1. Tijuana looks like a team that won't sit back and against Santos Laguna tonight should have the makings of a high scoring affair.

Pumas-Chivas Draw +225 (.5X)
Pumas +223 (.5X)
Pumas travels to Guadalajara tonight to face Chivas. Before their meeting in the 2nd leg of their Claurusa playoff match back in May, these two teams played out seven straight draws. Added up 8 of their last 10 have resulted in a draw. Going with a half unit play on the draw and Pumas. I think Pumas is the better team and anytime they're that high on the ML it deserves a play.

I think Tijuana is definitely an over team. I was out and didn't watch the game but the way they play they could be a great team to cash on the overs when playing the right team.

Tigres +159 (1X)
Tigres, looking for their first win, hits the road tonight to face Tecos. They looked ho of had a win but blew a 2-0 lead to tie Toluca 2-2. Tecos is coming off a surprise win 1-2 against America. This is one where I think the class of Tigres should come through. Tigres did finish atop of the Clausura just a few months ago and pretty much has their same team back, including their entire back line. Going with a unit on this one, I would normally go much larger on this but the home team has not had the advantage in this series. In fact going back to '03 (I couldn't find anything further back) the road team has not won. Sorta going out on a limb and expecting the road futility to end tonight with a win.

Tigres has had 6 excellent chances to score but can't get it done. Hopefully they can turn around their poor finishing in the 2nd half. Tigres has completely dominated the match.

Mexico plays USA in a rematch of the Gold Cup final tonight to be played in Philadelphia. Mexico will have all their ammo except Chicharito and de Nigris. Granted that's some heavy artillery they'll be without, but they will be getting back goal keeper Guillermo Ochoa as well as midfielders Christian Bermudez and Antonio Naelson, plus defender Francisco Rodriguez. All four had been sent home for the positive drug test (or as they call it in Mexico, bad meat) The US team will feature Jurgen Klinsmann in his debut as coach. Klinsmann took over for Bob Bradley just a few weeks ago. I think the US team will need some time to gel. Add to this that they'll be without Clint Dempsey and Jozy Altidore, I think Dos Santos and the Mexican team will have more than enough to see of the US tonight.

The rule says

"Regardless of position, there is no offside offence if a player receives the ball directly from a corner kick, goal kick, or throw-in"
