Man City is without leading goal scorer Carlos Tevez, Micah Richards and Kolo Toure. Also, Man City has failed to win a road game in 2011. Although I don't think Blackburn stands a chance I just don't feel 100% confident in Man City ML, maybe a draw? Who knows.

Good luck. I have Man City ML @ 2.01 at my book so I think its worth even a small wager.

Man City are a joke of a side, all that money and they can't even get close to the leaders. Think twice before you put your hard earned money on those jokers.

Gotta go with the trends on this one. Look for Man City to lose or draw. No win though

Don't be too discouraged by Man City's recent away form. They should still be riding the wave of confidence after beating Man United last week.
Also, Blackburn are pretty useless themselves (both home and away). They have only won one game in 2011 (2-0 against a West Brom side that was leaking goals for fun). Since then they've lost 6 and drawn 4. The only decent result being a 0-0 vs Arsenal. The rest of the draws have come against teams in the bottom half of the league.
Man City may not have been great away from home recently, but Blackburn have been bad for a fair while now. The difference in squads is staggering, and even with Carlos Tevez missing for Man City, as long as the likes of Johnson, Silva and Yaya Toure are available, Man City really should be the play here.

I've taken a bigger punt on this game. I think Blackburn are going to try and defend because they are looking at a relegation battle but I do think that Man City will come out on top in the end. That is why I've opted for a HALFTIME/FULLTIME bet of DRAW/MAN CITY at 4/1 (+400)

Has anyone been following Blackburn lately? What's up with this team can they play as good as Pool at home? If not then City is the play.

Interesting stats:
City haven't won away from home in 10 games. Blackburn haven't won in 10 games.

Listen up! Man City is very close to a lock. I am EXTREMELY confident they will win. Blackburn is pure thrash, and City's price biased by the fact that they've played top teams away from home recently. This should be more like -150.
Put a healthy chunk on it and buy yourself some nice steak and strippers with the winnings

You have to remember what City are playing for. They're a point ahead with a game in hand for 4th. Top 4 = Champions League. They'd love to extend that lead beyond a game.

Agree its hard to trust city on the road, but they're clearly the better side even without tevez. Still like city to get their first road win this year (2011).

I wouldn't be surprised with a draw here. I expect a low scoring game at that. Put my money on Blackburn +.5 +100. BOL

I'm waiting for the day when The Special One gives some insight into why he's selecting his teams rather than the usual for a guy who constantly opens new threads i'd be expecting reasons behind the plays or are they always guess plays?.
I'm also on Manchester City @ 2.00 it's an attacking Line-up from Roberto Mancini with the same team that beat Manchester Utd with Adam Johnson, David Silva & Mario Balotelli all starting in Attack, Blackburn also looking to have set-up an Attacking selection so i expect City who will be high on Morale to win this one at generous odds(ability wise) against the team who are 19/20 in the form table for the last 6 games, Much has been said about Manchester City not winning away in 2011 but 3/4 of those defeats were against Manchester Utd, Chelsea & Liverpool so it's not as bad as it sounds, If Mario Balotelli is motivated then it could be comfortable for City IMO.

Why not play the Draw @ +276 if your leaning +.5 for Blackburn? Can't see Blackburn winning but maybe drawing.

The EPL is a crazy place, yesterday Bolton got a 90th winner vs Arsenal, most people thought the same thing you did.
