    Blackpool v Chelsea o/u question...
This one looks like over 2.5 all the way for me, but I'm wondering what some of you think.

Blackpool seems to have no defense at all, and pretty much every game over the last two months that they've been in has tallied at least 3.

I know the juice is high on this one, but I'm looking for a reason not to jump on this one.

    Experts? Thoughts?

Blackpool will probably sit back the whole game. They are missing their top 2 strikers and their most important creative midfielder. Don't know if Blackpool will contribute goals because of this, so Chelsea handicap might be a better option.

Thanks dude. I was mostly thinking that Chelsea might score 3 themselves. They beat B'Pool 4-0 or 5-0 in one of their last matches, not that it means too much.

The juice on Chelsea ML is 1.36, but the over is 1.44. Both are pretty bad.

Problem with the handicap at my book is that if you take a team -1 and they win by 1, it's considered a push - but a losing bet.

Yep, sucks. So, if you bet at team -1 and they win by 1, you lose. If you take a team +1 and they lose by 1, you lose.

So, handicaps scare me because they actually have to win by 2 or more for me to win.

Not sure what to do here, but I'd like one solid (no brainer) pick for tomorrow, and the over here came to mind.

        Not sure though...

You're talking about a book that has the European -1 handicap. You need to find a book that uses the Asian, Asian -1 = push.

Blackpool plays no defense, and if i'm not mistaken, I think that charlie adams and dj campbell are both out. I think chelsea wins this one by 2+ goals.

Chelsea to score 5 goals or more @ 8.5 (Betfair) is my bet.

Blackpool's season has been a bit of a fairy tale but let's face it - they're are not really a Premier League side, especially defensively. They're also without Charlie Adam tonight which is a massive massive loss for them. Chelsea have been playing well recently (they put 4 past Bolton and Sunderland - which are much tougher away games), Ancelotti has way more options than a couple of weeks ago and most importantly their confidence is back and United's loss yesterday actually has opened a small door for the title. I expect them to run rampant again tonight and you gotta fear for Blackpool.

The mentality to sit back and defend doesn't register with Ian Holloway, He plays free flowing attacking football so there is little chance he will sit back and defend tonight especially at Home.

tough game to cap IMO. blackpool with injuries, like tree said they arent a team to sit back and defend, making it very hard to ever play the under when they are involved, but i do think theres a decent chance they get shutout today. chelsea laying juice and 1.5 on the road is kinda ridiculous, seem to be a bit overvalued after the man u win.

                                  • The Blues have won on their last six visits to Bloomfield Road in all competitions, a run that stretches back to 1967.
                                  • Blackpool's last home win against Chelsea was in April 1965, when they beat them 3-2 in a top-flight match.
                                  • In 82 matches overall, Chelsea have 37 wins, Blackpool 30 and there have been 15 draws.

                                  • The Seasiders' league games have produced a total of 97 goals this season - an average of almost 3.5 goals per game.
                                  • They have yet to keep a Premier League clean sheet at Bloomfield Road, but have also scored in all of their home games this term.
                                  • Blackpool have lost eight of 11 league games in 2011 (W2, D1, L8).
                                  • The Tangerines have not kept a clean sheet since winning 2-0 at Sunderland on 28 December.

                                  Chelsea
                                  • The Blues have won only two of their last nine league games away from Stamford Bridge.
                                  • Chelsea have only dropped four points from winning positions - a record matched only by Stoke.
                                  • David Luiz's goal against Manchester United was the seventh league goal scored by a Chelsea defender this term. Only Blackburn and Stoke (eight) have chipped in with more goals from the back.

Alright so i'm used to European Handicap not Asian so if i bet Chelsea -2 on Asian Handicap:

                                    Blackpool 0-2 Chelsea
                                    Blackpool 1-3 Chelsea

Then it would be a draw and my Full Stake would be returned?.

No draw possibility, Chelsea would need to win by 2.

Well, Chelsea is either going to make me very happy or very sad today:

                                                        Chelsea ML x10
                                                        Chelsea -1.5 x3
                                                        over 2.5 x3

I don't see Blackpool scoring, but they conceed 2 goals per game almost every Premier match. I can handle a 2-1 Chelsea win, I can handle a 2-0 Chelsea win, but a 1-1 draw or a 1-0 Chelsea win would suck huge.

Perfect score would be 3-0 or 3-1.

                                                        Good luck gents.

Oddsportal.com is better because they have a lot more bookmakers (Oddschecker for example doesn't list the big Asian books like SBOBET and 12bet where you will often get the best price). Oddschecker is still useful because they also have the small markets like total corners and stuff if you need that.

if Adam and DJ were playing, I wouldnt count it out... but more likely to be Blackpool 0 / Chelsea 2

Holloway is a smart coach and I think he will surprise Chelsea with a more defensive strategy (without Adam and DJ, so he must)... but still, Chelsea are desperate to lock into a CL spot and this is the best game in which to do it...
