    Arsenal's Season is Over
I am sorry if this will offend anyone (especially Arsenal fans) but after the way they lost today, its time for some depression... no CL, no EPL - NOTHING...

I find it unacceptable the way they FORCED a win today and because of this, they DIDNT win...

youll see what I mean VERY VERY soon...

Agree somewhat. For a club as big as Arsenal to go without a trophy for 6 years is a huge blow. Winning the Carling Cup (albeit being a somewhat joke competition) would have been huge.

I agree.. Arsenal is not a winning team. Actually every year they come up with a yound talented team that is capable of winning all four, yet they never do

Arsenal won't win titles until they start bringing in some guys like they used to have....Vieira, Keown, Tony Adams, etc....you need these types of physical and intimidating players to win in the EPL....otherwise they'll continue to get bossed around physically. "Pretty" football doesn't always win.

It look like someone bet heavy on Arsenal. It was a cup game, Arsenal always play with reserves on cup games, you should've known better. They still have a chance against Barcelona, although it is slim.

ok first of all, they didnt play it soft - they tried their absolute hardest and NO reserves... second of all, I didnt play this game, not one penny - I just turned it on in the 75' and saw the shameful goal and then decided to make this thread....

...I'm going to assume you didn't watch it. Arsenal did not use a reserve side (albeit Fabregas and Walcott were injured). They just found a way to bottle it as usual.

Sorry guys, I read that Fabregas was out and honestly when Fabregas is out , Arsenal is never the same. Again, I never play Arsenal on cup games and rarely play on sides. Sorry if I offended anyone....

Everyone is saying how crap Arsenal is, but really Birmingham deserves credit here. They signed a lot of new talented players and are pretty solid this year.

Didn't know a season is over when there are plenty of games left to be played with just a few points behind number 1.

But by seeing who opened this thread I know enough.

its a tough loss for them but arsenal do have bigger games on their agenda. being a man united fan im actually worried becuase i think they could win the league this year, mn united till have to play some tough games away. E.g, liverpool away, chelsea away and home and also arsenal away i think also

No silverware this year pretty much means say goodbye to the Captain. Cesc will not stay around. Unless they pull off a miracle at Barcelona in a few weeks, he will be gone.

What they need to do,is to change team manager(Arsen Wenger). He is to long in Arsenal and without any trophy in last 7 years.

Arsene Wenger has managed the team well, if well means winning trophies is not the main goal.
They are always at the top of the league, but they are not spending much on expensive players.

Arsenal's season is still very much alive - the Premier League is theirs to lose with the difficult schedule Man United has, they're still in the FA Cup and won the first leg of their Champions League over Barcelona! They could win more trophies than United this season!

Typical Arsenal, they beat Barcelona and just when everybody jumps on the Gunners train they derail. I warned about this being typical Arsenal, when you think they are at their best they will go and lose, when you think they are down and out they pull out wins.

They've hardly derailed since beating Barcelona - they've picked up max points in the league since All they've done is lose a meaningless trophy that, in the final they looked like they weren't up for.
