Not a stat man myself and maybe that's why i lose. I just know i have sucess on really low totals with teams that have the power to really put up big numbers.

I'll live bet every once in a while. I did it a couple weeks ago on that Phx/LAL game that went to 3OT's. I didn't have any action on the game until I turned it on in the 4Q. I ended up with Phx +850 and +150 and LAL -110 during the overtimes...looked real good to cash Phx until the end, but ended up only losing a couple bucks.

I've never live-bet MLB games, not sure why...just never had the interest. I did some live betting on the Super Bowl too.

Do not start! these damn books have a whole bunch of live sucker bets for you to go broke on. An example with what is happening to me now: I just took the Cards live -110 in extra innings. Well, of course the Padres score 2 runs and now Padres are at -1600. No way I am going to bet that... but wait! my book has been so kind to have an over and under for the Cards inning. It is at 8.5 and the under is at around -340. There was a time I would fall for this only to see a team score only one run and be down by 2. Thus they lose and I go broke.

In short: I just ate the money.

Yeah, you made the right move there. Just take the loss and move on to the next game. Most of the time when I live-bet...I end up having both sides and lose just a little. Can never get on the right side of those OT games and such.

Gabling wise i swear we are the same. Well, minus that tiny part where you succeed at this while i go broke, haha. I assume you like overs as you have been screwed in just about every sport with unders. Or that could just be a system you made. Overs are also more fun to watch i think. We also end up betting both sides on live games and take a small loss.

If i could just follow all your plays i'd be set. Thing is though i do this mainly for fun and just following other peoples picks is no fun to me. I know a person not on SBR who is a hockey guru. I swear he hits 9 out of 10 bets. I only follow him though when my own bets are losing and i am about to go broke. I also follow you when i'm about to lose it all as mentioned earlier we have the same betting style.

One last thing that might help some here. I met this hockey bettor at freesportsbet.com (read more below if interested if you have not heard of this site). My theory is you always win more when you do not have to stress about losing money you invested. Say for example a risk you normally would not take wins but you were too scared to take that chance. The good thing about that site is it has leaderboards and you can click on any persons username and it will show you every game said user is betting on! when i need to tail others i find this is a great place to get picks. It has saved me many a time.

freesportsbet.com works like this: you watch ads and you start out with 2 bucks. You can also do those survey offers so you can have more money to bet with. Only draw back is you can only bet $10 a game but it's free and real money. You can cash out if you have $200 or more.

Well, if you are still alive if you read all this it seems our Boston game started well. If i had more free time during the day i would not write novels at night, sorry.

Zito was hittable before his little accident and he admitted this morning that the sole reason for him pitching tonight is because they don't want to mess up the rotation for the other 4 starters. He's healthy enough to pitch, but he's far from 100%. Kuroda is hittable as well, despite his decent ERA over the past 3 seasons. Dodgers have won the first two games, but those bats haven't even come close to coming alive. I think we might see that tonight....or maybe the SF bats stay hot after yesterday's win.
