1. You guys are idiots... Just because Genk is favoured doesn't mean KNOWING that they are going to win isn't awesome information. I'm not saying this guy is telling the truth, but favourites go down ALL THE TIME; if you could know for sure that they're going to win then you can make some serious dough. In fact, fixing a favourite to win is a lot easier and safer since you don't have to get both teams involved, only the bad team; AND it doesn't look fishy if the fixed favourite does win because it was the most likely scenario anyways.
2. That place in Belgium is a large office building with the Marco Polo store taking the ground level. There's a few other companies at that location. And by the looks of the ticket, Kandoor Easybets is likely a low-key, unregulated bookie which wouldn't risk going online. Again, not saying this guy is the truth but so far, everything is checking out.Comment -

2. The company is clearly not regulated and therefore would explain why they accept such large wagers.
3. A fix is different than a 'lock of the century" or "game of the year".

as stated before, most bookies for this game would be low key and not in the public eye ,thus eliminating a paper trail and chance to be caught. I don't know how to feel on this.
On one hand, fixed games are a reality, and I'm thinking if I did have some inside info, as much as I'd like to keep it to myself, I bet it'd eat me up inside until I told people about it. Just so I could have a moment of fame.
On the other hand, if I were to lie about a fixed game, I'd do it this exact same way. Give a bit of info, half-truths, and let other people put the pieces together to make them think it's real (as done with Ye). Also, as Genk are favorites, it's easy to see them win anyway.
A part of me knows the best way to win at this is to get the inside info when there is a fix and go big on it, but whenever the time comes to do that, I always chicken out. I won't play it, but now I have to root for the other team, or I'll feel like shit for not tailing.Comment
