Special midweek England Premier League Contest (Nov. 9th and Nov.10th)

Contest rules

1. Each week will be limited to 8 picks (everyone must enter 8 picks).

2. 6 picks will be 1 unit bet and the other 2 will be best bet 2 units (for example a pick with a line of -150 would be risking 1.5 units to win the 1 unit, a line of +150 would be risking the 1 unit to win +1.5 units). So 6 picks have to be 1 unit and 2 picks have to be 2 units

3. Lines of more than -300/+300 will not be available

4. I will post lines from 5dimes so everyone will have the same lines available at the same price

5. Games start on Tuesday and all picks must be submitted before first game starts

6. Entry fee of 20 points for each week. Winners will be announced when all games finish.

Hey up pal. Ever thought of expanding the number of leagues available in this contest? Or is it just too much hard work to score it? We dont really have that many soccer contests around here and if there was more leagues to go at it might give some people a chance to use picks from leagues that they are more familiar with.

I did consider doing the same kind of contest using 2 other leagues but wasnt sure of what the interest level would be and figure its a bit much to try and get people to part with 40 points a week!

What other leagues are you interested in? I can try adding another one for now and see how it is. After the UEFA Champions League group play ends I will be doing a contest for that.

I haven't really thought about which leagues pal - From a personal standpoint La Liga and the EPL are my 2 strongest of all the major European leagues ... Just thinking of ways to give people a chance to make picks from leagues they may stronger in.

I always thought La Liga, EPL, Bundesliga, Calcio are the most popular. But in any case I think just raise to 25 points cause not everyone has a lot of points. But if we see that there are more and more so just raise it to 30.

f\*\*k I've just notices I'm not so good at EPL. Last week at La Liga ended 2-2. Today I'm 3-0 for now and can end 4-0 or 3-1! It means all my loses are from EPL

In fact it's incredible. Even with 2 leagues people are hitting like 50% or more. I mean if u are a gambler u come to the contest and look to the picks and u choose right u can hit like 60%+ of the picks! Amazing!

I think Holland would be a nice addition to the contest to be honest - that, like la liga and the EPL is very top heavy talent wise but after the top few teams the rest is VERY unpredictable. If you were to add the low scoring German or French league you could just blanket back draws/unders and probably finish too highly in the contest without really using your brains too much.

I like Holland also over the other leagues. Holland will be added to the contest next week.
