What's the reasoning behind this pick? Sydney lost 3-1 at home to the same team a month ago... I would maybe take the over but my gut is telling me to not even make a play on this match. Any more info you can give?

Adelaide's top scorer and playmaker Leckie is out. At the start of the season everyone wanted to beat Sydney, now they want to beat Adelaide. Sydney lost a whole heap of players at the start of the season then they lost players to injury. Now they are starting to get their players back into shape esp their forwards. Adelaide got a new coach this season and their opponents weren't used to their playing style style but now it's round 9 and they are adapting. Last week Adelaide's coach praised them for their best game in beating Glory at home. Glory had simple chances in that game like one on one with keeper but they missed easy shots. The time is right for an Adelaide letdown game.

I believe Sergio Van Dijk shares that honour, both on the team and the leauge.
Marcos Flores has a few tricks up his sleeve as well.

Imo.. Leckie is not a playmaker, he is an attacking winger and striker. anyhow Sydneys best player Nick Carle is still out.

Any thoughts on the over/under? Under seems like the play with adelaide's top scorer out. I also see pretty good odds on Sydney-pk, do you really see them with a victory? I don't follow A league but I can see this match ending 1-1.

Can you explain that bet? Does that mean we win, if Sydney wins or ties?

Push for a tie. Win for a Sydney win. Loss for an Adelaide win.

I edited it, so it was clearer. Just so it doesn't look dodgy I changed it from +0 to "Draw no bet". It means the same thing.

No one wants a points bet on the A-League closing this in 2 minutes for kickoff.

No. I like Sydney @ +0.5 because I believe the match ends in a tie. The odds are very good for both sides. It has already been noted in this forum that there are key players out for both sides. The under is juiced. I believe it ends 1-1.
Sydney does not take many losses at home...check their last 5 home games. I believe that Sydney will score because they normally do at home.
Adelaide will either win or tie because that is what they normally do on the road...check their last 5 road games. I believe that Adelaide will score because they normally do on the road.
Now, does the total go over or stay under?

I made a small play on the under... I just can't pull the trigger on a winless team vs an undefeated one. GL to all that played though!
