Need some advice on these match-ups today from people that know more about this sport than I do. Who wins and which ones have the best chance of a draw.

AC MILAN @ AJAX

ARSENAL @ PARTIZAN BEL

The truth is that games between teams from different leagues are hard to cap. And that's what you have in the group stages of the CL. One other thing is that these are no elimination games. You only need a certain number of points to go through to the next stage. Teams often go through to the next stage by merely winning all or most of their home games. So there's little value with playing road favorites as they may be just content with a draw. I think the 2 games with the best draw potential are those involving Basel and Partizan. It's easy to think Arsenal and Bayern Munich should win "easily" but road games are very tricky. I doubt either of them will win.

I think Real Madrid should beat Auxerre but laying -180 on a road favorite isn't the best way to build one's bankroll.

On the whole, these look "safe" to me:

Partizan/Arsenal UNDER 2.5
Basel PK
Ajax PK

on the other hand, madrid under is good too imo

I am a little green when it comes to football-soccer but am intrigued by the sport and like to bet it because it makes it more intertaining to watch. Good info Wilford.
