This should be a close game. Vitesse has better quality players, but NEC has a better teamspirit and better working mentality. For me there is no big favourite in this match and odds around 1,75 for a NEC win are way too low in my opinion. I´m not impressed by NEC and the value is on Vitesse.

ADO is doing pretty good, but I still don´t rate them very high. Utrecht on the other hand is playing Europa League and aims for a top5 spot. Utrecht dominated against Liverpool and Celtic in the Europa League and they won against Ajax in an away match a few weeks ago. And Utrecht gets 1,84 DNB at ADO? That´s too high for me.

Ajax is a mess right now. Cruyff attacking the club in the media, saying the entire board should go. A clueless coach. Until they sort things out, they should be a good fade. Heavy part of the schedule coming up for them.Comment -
Actually my biggest bet of the weekend will be AZ - Ajax: Ajax to win @2,01. If Cruyff attacks the club in the media, the players are not going to play any worse because of that.
Ajax is still a quality team. They had some bad results, but there were reasons for that. For example the 2-2 against Excelsior they played most of the game with 10 against 11. In the game at Auxerre they were the better team, but were unlucky to lose. The two homegame losses against Utrecht and ADO were just very bad games, but that can happen once in a while. Last month they had solid wins against Heerenveen (3-1), Heracles (4-1), NAC (3-0) and Auxerre (2-1). They are 100% a top3 team in the league, something I can´t say about AZ. AZ is a different team compared to last year, they lost their 3 attacking players and are struggling most matches. I see Ajax as the clear favourite in this matchup and was surpised I got odds above 2,00. So Ajax to win will be my best bet for the weekend.Comment -

Willem II - Graafschap: Two pretty bad teams. I would rate them pretty equal, so with the home advantage and odds around 2,07 for Willem II draw no bet, the value is on Willem II.
I wouldn´t go too big on Willem II however, because they haven´t won in like 20 matches! I expect something like 1-1 or 2-1 or 2-2, but I will skip this game because I´m very selective with my bets and I don´t wanna bet a team that hasn´t won their last 20 matches.. True. But the pressure is on and Ajax is searching for its identity (which may be hard to find with Suarez and EH upfront, and nobody on the wings). Too many players are having an average season, and the defense has been making mental errors this whole season. The way they gave up that second goal at Auxerre was almost beyond belief. Such a lapse in concentration would be a joke even for amateurs. It's going to come down to mentality this Sunday, and I don't know how tough this Ajax squad is.
Those losses followed a midweek CL game. Again suggesting a lack of concentration. The fact that ADO outplayed Ajax in their own stadium is really a low point (perhaps even historically). It means that Ajax has no idea how to translate the extra quality into better play. I look at this Ajax and can't help shaking my head. De Jong, De Zeeuw ..., what happened to intelligent and creative midfielders?
It's still a rivalry game. One of the biggest, if not the biggest, games of the year for Alkmaar. It would be great for Ajax if they could turn the tide here. But AZ gets them when they're most vulnerable. If Ajax loses here, it will almost certainly be crisis time in Amsterdam. So extra pressure for everyone at the club. My guess is this will not be a relaxed and flowing Ajax. Good luck.

I really thought they were able to play a good game, but it looked like they weren´t motivated. AZ on the other hand played surprisingly good.

Graafschap is a hard working team with great fighting spirit, especially at home where they produced some surprising wins. However, Roda have better quality players and are showing some nice football. I would be surprised if Graafschap takes the win here. Roda only lost 1 of their 13 games this season (away at Ajax) Odds around 1,76 for Roda DNB are nice value for me.

Also, Ajax should be hugely motivated to show their fans some good football in this important homegame. Ajax at home is usually very strong (last season 16 wins, 1 draw, 0 losses) and players like El Hamdaoui can decide a game with 1 brilliant action. But as said, Ajax is struggling and PSV is number 1 in the league and a tough opponent. Roda just played below their level, it seems like every team plays way below their level at the Graafschap
Twente were way better than AZ, but they got a red card and after that AZ scored twice, although Twente even had better chances with 10 men.

Big change at Ajax. Coach Jol is out and Frank De Boer is in as coach. Ajax just completed one of the worst stretches of home games in club history. There has been a lot of turmoil at the club recently, but the time to fade Ajax may be coming to an end.
They play at AC Milan tonight in the CL. Milan is already in the next round and will not be fielding their best team. The coaching change could spark Ajax today, and at least get rid of the negative attitude on the pitch.Comment
