I read somewhere that Lille is not really interested in EL, they need to focus more on Ligue 1.
Not sure whether it's true or if this has an impact for tonight's match against PSV.

You know your team mentality better than me, but i don't see PSV playing for the draw, besides Lille is usually a weak away team, and they will have to search for a goal giving space for PSV to counter attack and score

Decado that might be true, because Lille has good chances to win the French league, while in Europa league they know they have little chances, in part due to what i said about them being a very fragile team in away games.

I haven't seen the odds for Benfica tonight, but Benfica +1 might be good ( teasing our German friend a bit )

your benfica boys can advance, but let's not make it that easy. extra time maybe?

i just hope leverkusen will make it very far and i'm sure they can do it, whereas stuttgart's european trip will most likely end tonight or latest in next round.

PSV has a very important home game against Ajax coming up this weekend. They most likely will try to get an early goal tonight so they can sit back and relax so to speak. If it stays tied long enough they're not going to push for the goal though, since a low scoring draw will get them in the next round.

It's true that Lille cares much more about Ligue 1 then the Europa League and they will rest several players just like they did last week, but the fact also remains that they completely outplayed us last week and we were lucky to get out with a draw there.

Meaning they can afford a draw or even a loss and still advance...

If you want to play these teams you should at least wait until lineups are announced, wouldn't surprise me if at least Leverkusen will be resting several players.

Why would Leverkusen want to lose at home? They play very good football, I dont think they will go for a "Meaning they can afford a draw or even a loss and still advance..." and afterall the motivation for the opponent team is 0 aswell.

it just means that they will not have another 4-0 tonight, more likely a low win or draw.

leverkusen will definitely rest some players and experiment a bit with the bench. ballack will have a comeback today as well. as long they will score one or not lose 0-4 they will do just fine and advance..

Leverkussen will get far i believe, they have an excellent team and they're playing well, this round is in the bag, with 4-0 away it's done.

I'll be on your boys again this weekend against dortmund, what do you think about goals market for this game?

I know PSV won't push too much, but i also think they won't even need to, believe me in the large majority of times Lille is really weak away, it's just like if they were 2 different teams, let's hope it stays that way tonight LOL

Very happy with my boys tonight

The game was the complete opposite of last week's, they totally outplayed Lille. Even when they were down 0-1 it was obvious Lille wasn't going to win here.
