Anyone else liking tottenham here? They're 12-1 SU in the last 13 against Man City. I think people tend to forget how bad Man City is away from home, i expect a big win for Hotspurs here.

Love it how everyone in all these threads declares which plays are right and wrong without ever mentioning the odds.

Right now the over might be the play and in 3 hours the value might be on the under if the odds have shortened.

I'll try and play the contrarian view here...Spurs will be without Bentley, O'Hara, and Woodgate while Man City will be full up will all of their signings (minus Balotelli). Yes the numbers are ugly being 11 of 12, but also the last 8 of 11 have ended with the score of 2-1. With it being the first game of the year the price for Man City at a pk is enticing at +130. Man City has quality at all positions, and being so early in the season anything can, and will happen.

Tottenham -0,5 / PK seems a decent bet. Man City will need at least a couple of games to gel and incorporate all those new signings into the system - provided they have one, because last season I could hardly see it.

Tottenham owned the first half, City weren't even in close proximity of Spurs goal. Except for Tevez who refused to shoot before trying another dribble when he was open to shoot, at a distance shorter then the penalty spot.

Lets see if Hart can save Citys ass with another 7-8 superman saves.
