He is the first player in history to score an assist and a goal by himself on the same play.

Is there such a thing as a "kick and slide" technique? Thinking if a defender was coming at you, you'd head fake, kick and fall/slide to avoid direct contact. Just a thought.
Man did Manchester United get that dude for a bargain....probably would of been 3x that amount if they waited until after the World Cup

I laughed my ass off for about 20 minutes, and after all the replays. It still makes me giggle every now and then.

Chicharito is the flavor of the year here in Mexico, as it was Giovanni Dos Santos last year. Coach Aguirre was harshly criticized here for not starting Chicharito in the World Cup. Both Chicharito and Giovanni show great promise, but it is too early to think on all-time greatness.
Hugo Sanchez was almost a national hero when he was on Spain, but after he returned to Mexico the public opinion has soured on him. He has had some good coaching results (two championships with his Pumas team), but in the interviews he usually sounds too arrogant.
Rafael Marquez is vastly underrated here. He was one of the top defenders of the world for some years, but never has got the public following of the goal scorers.
