Got to see the line first...I'm sure the Over/Under will be adjusted after today's showing. Man U didn't have any offensive punch, and I'm not sure they're going to find any by Wednesday.

But... it's more like the revolutionary war.
The British hate to lose at anything to the "yanks" (golf, football, war...)

But WTF... United could not even manage a shot on goal with a
53 minute, one man advantage! Could have been 4-1 KC.

Definite loss of face... Even when you try to forget about the fact
that United are a 1.7 billion dollar franchise and the average MLS
player makes less than 40 thousand a year!

United will be desperate to avoid another drubbing and
even more public humiliation !!!

Their tabloids can't wait to have a belly laugh at their expense.

For sure... they don't want to end up looking as sad and
pathetic as Manchester City the "richest team in the world"
Now 0-3 in America. (ha,ha!)

The "Yanks" will be up for the game. If you have ever played you know
there is no greater satisfaction than the satisfaction you get when
you humble the mighty!

I doubt they will spank them. United will make changes and might be more up for this one.

that's an incredible price, about to get some of that right now ohpefully the number hasn't dropped too much.

just goes to show united are screwed with this 'youth' - reading the man united forums yesterday there were two opinions 1. united are in trouble 2. this is only pre-season

of course the truth lies somewhere in the middle, but the fact is the number of people that are not with them right now is actually not so high and they have most of their roster on this trip. As opposed to say City, who have about 10 starters/frequently used subs out right now.

If the Union passed circles around them, if the mediocre Wizards even won, then the MLS All-Stars should have an easier time. Although this is probably the one where United will go all-out due to these last bad results...

Ironically MLS all * can play worse than union or Kc. The players don't train and play along each other everyday. The Over looks good here thou

talking about tonights LA match.

4 Galaxy players - Landon Donovan, Edson Buddle, Omar Gonzalez and Donovan Ricketts - were selected to the First XI for the MLS All-Star Game against Manchester United. All 4 players are part of the first 11 players elected to the All-Star Game, the game, to be played at Reliant Stadium in Houston on July 28th.
The timing of tonight's game figures to be difficult, to say the least, considering Arena and the Galaxy's four MLS All-Stars - Edson Buddle, Landon Donovan, Omar Gonzalez and Donovan Ricketts - will fly to Houston immediately after the game to take part in Wednesday's MLS All-Star game against Manchester United. Arena will be coaching the squad. Then they will return to Los Angeles to prepare for Sunday's MLS game against the Chicago Fire. "The All-Star Game is secondary to this," Arena said. "How they schedule it like that and why, I don't really know. There's not a whole lot I can do about it anyway. Our objective is to get through this game comfortably and position this team to advance into group play. "The first leg is critically important."

Over looks like a decent play. Juice @ -140ish, but in the 6 all star games vs club teams there have been 19 goals for an avg of 3.166, but only 3 of 6 games have cashed over 2.5 goals.

Both teams defense should be weak and both will push forward
rather than sit back and defend.
