I read somewhere that Inter Milan will make a 22 million euro bid for Diego Forlán.
Who thinks he'll accept?

They are supposedly going after Rossi from Villarreal first. If that move fails, then Forlan is their target from what I read.

This is if Balotelli leaves for Manchester City who are in pole position of signing him, other clubs in the race are United and Chelsea. Forlan is one option, other players that has been spoken of are Kuyt, Podolski and Guiseppe Rossi. Personally I would prefer a younger player but ill take Forlan before Kuyt 100% of the time, I dont want Kuyt at Inter. I think Forlan might want to move and play for a bigger club before its to late, even though he said he wants to stay. Im sure Moratti, Benitez and Branca will do whats best for the team.

how do you think he'd fare in a bigger club though? he's usually spectacular because the players around him are bad but will he shine in a club with huge stars?

Here is my theory for inter and benitez .. it fking does my head in everytime these kind of coaches get jobs...
Benitez is the equivalent of Ronald Koeman also decent tactician and inter will probably win a few trophies the first year but after the first year it will decline...
Ronald Koeman and Benitez have 2 things in common they are both lousy at buying players and building teams in the long term. So i hope benitez won't buy kuyt since he adds nothing too a inter who already plays with 2 defensive midfielders he has no pace plus he can't get past any defenders

I dident want Benitez at Inter and I think it might just be a temporary solution, there are rumours that Inter want Guardiola after next season even though that sounds unlikely. As far as the transfer market goes im not as worried since Benitez will work with Marco Branca and wont be 100% in charge. Inters summer mercato last season was the best ever so I dont think Branca will make any big mistakes. Inter have plans to sign Macherano and play with him and Cambiasso as 2 defensive midfielders. Its said that Benitez will play a 4-2-3-1 and a 4-3-3 formation. I agree on Kuyt, we already have Pandev, Etoo and the young Coutinho that can play on the wing/forward position. Forlan would add more things, he is awesome as we all saw in the WC and Atletico Madrid the past couple of seasons. But for the future I would buy a younger player.
