    Spain=France(1998-2000)
    So isn't that similar. France winning the WC and the Euro with the best players in the world with the one of the most promising youths. Everyone was talking about them.

    I don't think Spain wins tonight BUT even if they somehow manage to win the WC, they will go down just as the french went down after their biggest success in football.
    Spain have never been super-power and never will be. Come on that was the first ever final and their second ever semi-final.

          The hype surrounding them is the same as the French 10 years ago, the history repeats boys, Spain will suffer big time just to qualify for the next WC.

              I will see how the players react. 10 years ago, French went down after the success because change in the player attitude after the star status. Proof, when they get serious, they go all the way to Final (2006). You can't argue that their '06 success is because of veterans like Thuram, Makelele, Gallas, Zidane, right?

              This exact thing will determine Spain chance at Euro 2012.

                  Spain deserved to win, and their team will be at the top for at least 5-6 years now.
