Question, so in an effort to hedge my Spain future I have decided to bet Netherlands PK at half. Now I think it will be tied 0-0 at half, so it would be considered a push right? My take for what its worth: I think Spain is the better team on paper, and will have possession but on form converting this to goals will be the query... One thing punters should consider is that the best chance the dutch have is to take the game to spain from the outset and put pressure on spain so as to deny them their natural game (ideally with an early goal, but not necessarily). We saw against paraguay that spain is innocuous when not allowed to settle and hold the ball. This team on my view probably should have lost to paraguay and had an early loss to switzerland in the group stage so they are not infallible. If Holland have this mindset then i think 4 bucks about the dutch is overs and you could see a couple of goals go past Casillas when spain's game opens right up. But if the dutch play negatively/cautiously early then the spanish will be too good and do just enough to win - probably strangle the game for a 1-0 win. That's why i'll be putting my bet on in play. I think the current approx $2.10 is under the odds (i think thats +110 in American odds).
