Football factories is great, I was disappointed he didn't pay our 'Carsi' ultras a visit on his trip to Turkey though

The Ultraslan leader Alparslan was in the Football Factory documentary in Turkey, he was a well respected leader. I admire Ultraslan, they bailed Galatasaray out and got their team out of trouble, one of the great ultra firms

Cass, The Rise Of The Foot Soldier these 2 are the best futball hooligans movies imo. Green Street Hooligans is too Hollywood and too soft imo.

It really is a great movie. Never really liked Elijah Wood, but his performance was good in this one.

Rise of the foot soldier? Didn't heard of it before. I am going to watch it as I enjoy this type of movies. Thank you for the heads-up. Cass I did see and like, but the hooligan aspect is more in the background of the story. Great autobiography though.

Ulubatli Souness! he took the flag in a derby in Fenerbahce and placed it right in the center spot, it was like an epic moment from a classic film.

maybe just me being an american but i could hardly understand what the fvck they were talking about 20% of the time....

didn't really like the movie. It reminded me of a hooligan based Kids (Kids- the movie).

Have anybody ever read Among the Thugs by Bill Buford? Apparently it's similar to GSH, in that this guy goes and becomes a part of a hooligan gang and writes about all the ins and outs of it. Looks interesting, and I'm wondering if I should pick it up.

Silly movie. Badly cast, too. Elijah Wood nails? Really? Given the subject matter they could have made it grittier and more true to life.
