Without him Argentina would need another Osorio screw up or long range from Tevez, Messi is like a magnet to defenders opening up their attack, most of the goals were a result of his shots being rebounded anyways.

Argentina would have advanced and beat Mexico without him, we'll see how it goes now when the going gets tough. Germany-Spain-Brazil is as rough as schedule as you can get.

Messi had been brilliant this WC hands down. This guy could of easily had 3 goals by now in this Final but the ball just ins't going in right now for him. Hes been Argentina's best player no doubt and has set up i'd say atleast half of Argentina's 10 goals.
