Generally, I would agree with this assessment if it was another team... but Brazil is a soccer stars factory. One star goes down and here comes another one in place. Take the Copa America a few years ago (2007) for example... they played mostly their backups at the time (due to some BS injuries to their stars) and still beat the crap out of the then heavily favorite Argentina, 3-0. Kaka is my favorite player and i know that when his playing up to his potential, theres no match for his vision, passing and his speed is just amazing, but atm i dont think hes at a 100%. He started first game at 40% and improve hugely in the last game vs IC. If kaka would have played this match vs portugal, i would be even more certainly that brazil would win but even though hell not play, i still think brazil is favorite and they wont miss kaka that much. Robinho can fill in his star shoes just for this game and baptista can do more than a decent job, dont forget his strenght and great strking abilities.
