Brazil can be over confident and only beat NK 2-1. They are now a better team in Ivory Coast. Having said that it does give good value with Brazil at -145

Compare the line vs. North Korea to this one.

Brazil was about -1000 ML vs. NK.

Now they're -133 on Pinnacle vs. Ivory Coast. -175 or -200 would be more reasonable.

Ivory Coast is a solid side, but Brazil is an elite team, even if they didn't show it against the Commies.

Drogba is most likely starting for Ivory Coast.

But i'm not sure any of you guys noticed in their previous game, but Drogba was very hesistant in falling to the ground due to his dodgy arm. The reason i mention this is during quite a lot of games, he loves going to ground trying to get free kicks. I think due to his injury he has to change the way he plays.

Why is Brazil ML only -121?

That seems pretty low to me. I guess there performance versus the North Koreans affected these odds a bit. IMO there is some value here with those low odds. I see a low scoring tight game. A 1-0 Brazil type result would be most likely imo. Ivory Coast played well in there opening match and i assume they will be happy with a draw here. I think a stab on Brazil at those odds is worth it.

Okay i hear that. So they draw today lets say. Then ICoast beats North Korea and so does portugal tomorrow. That leaves Brazil with 4 points and Icoast with 5 points and Portugal with 4 points and then what happens in the last match with Brazil and Portugal? Doesnt that put Brazil in a sticky spot?

This is why the line is so high. Because of all the uncertainties. If Ivory Coast lost the first game and Spain won the line would have been lower for Brazil win.
