Here is how the scoring will be determined.

1. Pick the two winners (advancing teams) from each group stage: 25 points (10 points awarded if only 1/2 teams selected).

2. Pick the correct order of how the teams will finish in their group stages. That is, submit both what you think each teams record will in order from 1st to 4th in each Group stage
Points for predicting the order of how teams will finish: 15 Bonus Points
Points for predicting the correct record (DRAWS INCLUDED) of each team: 10 Bonus points per team.

3. 25 point bonus winner: Predict the teams that will sweep their group stage. Draws will be counted as wouldn't count as a sweep. The user that predicts the right teams and most amount that will sweep will be the winner. For example, if you predict 5 teams will sweep and only 2 of the 5 you selected sweep you are -1. If you pick 2/3 correctly you would have a much better shot.

THIS WILL ONLY BE AWARDED TO ONE PERSON

4. Predict the semi-finals: 50 points
Predict the finals: 100 points
Pick your 2010 FIFA world cup CHAMPION: 250 points
Pick the number of goals scored in the championship game: 35 points

The only rule is that you can't change your picks once the matches have started. You can edit anyone of your posts so long as its before they start.


After the group stages are over we will come back here and do our submissions for the round of 16, quarters, semis, finals. That way if people mess up in their group stage they have a chance to catch up in the competition this way.

We will pick our winners for these rounds and the score. The correct score will be worth 20 points and the winner of the match will be worth 50.
****If any one picks an upset that is over +450 odds and it hits they will be awarded 75 points for that winner.

Yes do numbers 1-4 prior to the start of the group stages tomorrow morning. Once teh group stages are over, we will do a game by game picks for the round of 16, 8, semis, finals.
