A question mark for England

- Rooneys temper, he has been given a warning that if he could be sent off if he doesn't show respect to the refs, then they bring in Carlos Simon! one of the most controversial refs in Brazil, I have first hand seen what he is capable of. Let's just say if he England gets on the wrong side of him there will be fireworks. If the game turns out into a frantic midfield battle, there could be lots of cards shown, if they frustrate Rooney and get him mouthing off this guy won't hesitate to do what Fifa said they would and show him the red.

That's a complete non story IMO.

People are behaving as if Rooney gets sent off every other week for United.

I don't think Altidore's health is that big of a deal here. I also think the US will likely play rather conservatively until they get their bearings and will likely be down 1-0 pretty early. Coach Bradley is just not one to 'go for it'. We'll see, though.
I smell England 1-0 or 2-0 in this one. I don't see the US offense doing much in this game at all - nor having the ball a whole heckuva lot.

The Over is the play here in my opinion. Also, as a die hard US soccer fan, Altidore is overrated. Findley/Gomez starting next to Buddle is the way to go. Findley's pace is ridiculous and can cause trouble. Gomez is pure talent and finishes in almost every game. With that said, I like USA to score at least 1 in this game. They won't play conservative at all. They know they are the underdogs and they are going to put as much pressure as possible on England. Look for them to take the lead before losing 1-2/2-3.

Yeah i love Gomez to, but the USA usually has shaky defense and they can score at least a goal, really love the over

England isn't the team you all make them out to be. Soccer is quite the team game and they are having REAL problems getting on the same page. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if USA sneaks out a 2-1 victory. USA has some real gritty players and they thrive as the underdog.

Agreed. England SHOULD win, but unless someone gives players like Gerrard and Lampard a kick in the backside to get motivated, there will have no midfield to feed Rooney. US teams play as teams and other than a weak defense, they have strong players in key positions.

Don't put all your $$ on England. This will be a draw or US win.
