Help-Never Wagered on World Cup Before
I see that one can wager on who they think will be the winner/loser of the A-H Groups. As I understand it, 2 teams from each group advance. I assume the winner of the group is the team with the best record after the 3-game group play with tie-breaker rules in case of a tie. Is this correct? Thanks.

    Joe.

Yeah win gets 3 points, tie gets 1 point then there are tie break rules if teams end up with same points like head to head record and goal differential.

I know plenty about football, don't know much about soccer.

Yeah, if I knew that little about soccer, I don't think I'd be betting on it.

FYI - there are some of us Americans that know and love world football (we're just harder to find)
