Giuseppe Rossi doesn't make Italy squad
When he made the decision to play for Italy and not the US be took a lot of heat from US fans. He would of definitely made a great line mate with Landon Donovon, but now he doesn't even get the chance to go to South Africa at all. It will be interesting how this plays out in the media.

Yeah I thought that was pretty interesting. It's too bad he didn't want to represent the country he was born in and further the sport here in the U.S.

I think he would of made a great addition to the US lineup, but I understand wanting to play for a team like Italy. Just not getting selected I'm sure is a kick in the groin, and some serious second guessing.

he's young, and I don;t think he had a great season, Lippi knows what he is doing

Totally agree, someone advised him badly when choosing which country to play for. He could have been a big time player for USA, and now he's nothing but an Italian pleb, who no one will ever remember

I wouldn't say that, smogs, Rossi is young and can grow in value, he surely has potential, and might become a striker we will remember after he retires.

Yeah but who really wants to play for the USA national football team, honestly, be real

He's better off not playin at all and just going to the beach to smash some fine ladies, which I have no doubt he will be doing.

No, he's better off on a team that needs him more than Italy did.

Sure, but remember, thats what YOU think. Rossi doesn't agree as far as I can tell.

He gambled hoping to play for the better team and he lost. I don't blame him for trying.

Lippi just didn't want him and thats it. Bet my life on it that you will see Rossi on Italia in 2 years for the Euros and in 4 years in the WC. Italy has no room for young guys, Lippi makes up his team of experience and composure. FORZA ITALIA
