    team usa
I cant say I'm disappointed with the result last night. Our B team sucks badly. Without Donovan and Dempsy in the lineup we had little chance.

The fact that you guys need 2 players to make a difference is sad. IMO. What if Donovan gets injured in first game or for that matter Dempsy ??

You guys have way to much players to chose from, I say its badly managed.

its not just 2 players bud... jram is simply mentioning our two best players. if you knew anything about the usa team, then you would realize that we missed key defenders last night like demerit and bocanegra. we also didn't have altidore, bradely, or tim howard! quit bashing on usa and learn a little something about the team before you offer up a negative post. oh, and we aren't poorly managed. bob bradely has done a much better job than that idiot bruce arena.

Played Czech Republic +.5. Fell asleep thru the first half and woke up right when the Czech's scored. Good day in soccer yesterday picked Ireland and Czech.

Not here to bash the US Team ... I actually hope they do well in WC.

The way he stated the fact that you guys were missing those 2 players, is sad, you guys have WAY TOO MUCH players to chose from, and if you cannot come up with subs to take their position, then YES, it is badly managed.

I do know a lot about the US team ... might know more than you do, but thats not the point. You CANNOT depend on just the players he mentioned.

Yes there were other players missing last night, but the way they played, still makes me wonder.

no offense, but i really think usa soccer wont move forward in this world cup or years forward unless they can make MLS equal to other 4 major sport competition... I tried to watch MLS, the quality is like watching asia soccer (j-league, korea league, asia cl, etc) where there are so many mistakes in offense and goals are more likely from long shot or basic defense mistakes. It still better to watch latin, not to mention europe...

Unfortunately the majority of our roster has play for european teams or have european experience. the mls players we have taken are doing well in the mls lately and during the WC theyre going to come off the bench and bring energy. there is a lot of promise in this team and we arent just relying on two players. however, our defense look weak at the moment and if they dont improve USA will loose

MLS is unwatchable when compared to premiership,Germany,la Liga or Italy
our best athletes don't even play the game after 12 years old

The quality of play might not be as good however I like watching the MLS since you don't see many of them crying and rolling around cuz someone came near them without even touching them

Nice to see Gomez score, hopefully he can continue to build on this streak heading into the World Cup. Saturday's game against Turkey should tell us alot more about this team.
