Stabæk now getting some of their key players back from injuries are getting to be a known force again. We saw it already in their last game when they took a very strong 1-3 away win over Strømsgodset, 2 goals by Andersson and one by Hoff to make it their 2nd win on the road this season. Today they get back top striker Nannskog as well as Palmason. There's a lot of potential in this Stabæk team as it is now.
Start will be without one of their key defenders in Clarence Goodson. To replace him, a big, but slow, Bård Borgersen will come in. Now, Start have a very small line-up, and there isn't really any room for injuries or people missing from the line-up before it gets very tough for this team. We've already seen this lately. A week out in April they lost their offensive midfielder and captain Geir Fevang. After doing so they went 1-1-4. Also missing key midfielder in Owello whose season has started off very good. Fevang came back in their last game when they finally won a game again, 3-0 at home over Kongsvinger. Now, today, Owello is also back and together with Børufsen, Kleiven and Bolanos in midfield, and Fevang together with Årst on top - this team has great offensive potential. I think Stabæk will have a hard time today trying to secure another home win.
At the same time, Start have not been doing good defensively - all season long they've been taking punishment from teams scoring on them. To win their games, they have to outscore their opponent - they just can not contain players on other teams. And without Goodson in defense they will have an even harder time trying to defend. Stabæk with a full set line of offensive players back will know how to score on this Start team. But Start is sure as hell good enough offensively to break through and score too.
I see a 2-1 2-2 3-2 2-3 kinda game. I would be very surprised if we lose our money with this bet. A push at worst are to be expected. 2 units on the over 3.0 for me.
