The 'other' game is getting some strange attention from Feyenoord supporters. They hate Ajax. So much so that they organized activities throughout the week to convince the players from their own team - Feyenoord - to lose today. Apparently, they will even sit in the stands in the colors of the opposing team, FC Twente. If Twente doesn't win, and Ajax does, the championship almost certainly goes to Amsterdam. lol

I don't know if that's enough to bet on Twente. But in any case, Twente at home is very strong: 15 wins, 1 draw, no losses.

Instead of starting a new topic, I'll just build on the above Ajax home record.

The story this week. There is a Cup final in Holland that is played each year in 'the Kuip'; the home stadium to Feyenoord. I don't know the exact background, but the finalists this year, Ajax and Feyenoord, decided to not have one final game, as is the custom, but to play a home and away game. They also agreed not to allow fans of each road team to attend each of the two games. So this is Ajax at home with only Ajax fans.

Games between Ajax and Feyenoord used to be known as 'The Classic'. The history between these teams goes back a long way. For some more recent background between these two teams see the above three posts. I'm going with the impressive Ajax home record again:
