The over 2.5 seems to me also the best bet for this game. United have seen some better days, but Rooney returning could give them a boost of confidence and their ego might also act up as they could be totally thrown out from the title race tomorrow, so no bet on the outcome for me, just looking for goals.

City has a much more dangerous offense. Adebayor upfront, Tevez and Bellamy on each wing. I bet against United at home with Chelsea, I'm doing it again with City. GL all.

I recommend that if you bet, keep it small because United are the best at pulling miracle goals.

Over 2,5 seems like a good bet too, both teams have very good offence and all 3 previous games between them this season went over (4-3, 2-1 and 3-1).

I'm still leaning United, but wouldn't touch it at all. Momentum is definitely with City but United are the title holders (not for long) for a reason. They have slipped up, but will now show what they are made of. Every time United lose a game they destroy the next team in the league, they followed the Chelsea loss with only a 0-0 draw. So i am expecting a massive United performance to avoid 3 games running without a win

This is the Derby! Throw out form, throw out stats, this is about bragging rights in the city and anything can happen. Sitting back an enjoying this one....but, think the safest bet is the over especially if SAF plays a 4-4-2 with Rooney and Berbatov up front like they did at Old Trafford and Citeh arguably have the most in form attack so I expect a few goals, plus the early noon games are usually sloppy games.

If I were a neutral, it would be tough to take one side or the other...United can't afford to lose...that's surely the end of our title hopes. A draw won't necessarily end our hopes if Chelsea manage to drop points at WHL. City won't mind a draw either if Chelsea can get something from WHL and keep their footing on 4th spot. 2-2 draw if I were a neutral. 2-1 United as a Red.

1st derby in 3D...might be hard to watch seeing the mugs of Tevez, Neville and Lescott up close.

city to win, i think nothing more will them happy to be the team that completely kills utd chance of winning the title or getting back into it to make up for that first game goal. I do like the over as well but still have doubts about it

I'm surprised everyone is getting sucked into betting on City. Honestly their recent goal scoring form isn't fooling me. They were awful against 10 man Wigan all across the park and the Burnley defence were absolutely terrible in the 6-1 defeat. Birmingham have pretty much accepted their position and saving all of their power for their home games, where they seem to be invincible.

6/4 for Utd. That is a really good price, especially if Rooney starts. City have folded when it came to the big tests this year. I think they will have a lot of confidence going into this game, but if they try and play open football as a result of that, I can only see one team winning.

+ 2.5 looks a safe bet though.
