championship division, but also europa league
I m talking about Portsmouth who are playing the FA Cup Final against Chelsea..and, as far as i remember, they are taking the uefa europa league.

This could have interesting consequences : think about Liverpool needing to win the Europa League in order to play in Europe next season...

What do you think of my judgement, are my points good, I mean, am I right ?

You're thinking about taking Portsmouth vs Chelsea?

Tottenham have a massive injury list and are a pretty unpredictable team. I respect Portsmouth for getting this far with their troubles, but I'll be surprised if I don't see Chelsea score 5+ goals on them in the final.

no no, u probably don't know this rule : Chelsea would qualify for the Europea League from winning the Fa Cup, but since they are qualified in the UCL, they are leaving a free spot, which will be taken by the finalist of the FA Cup. If the final was tottenham-chelsea, than, the spot created would have been the 6th place from the premiership.
Same situation is with Villa. They played the final of League Cup against a team who will play in UCL, Man Utd,

I agree with johon, Chelsea will ease to victory here.

edit: didn't see your 2nd post before I commented. Would be a blow for pool if they didn't qualify for Europe.

no,u got me wrong. Every man with his head on his shoulders will fade pompey here,
What I want to say is this : Liverpool is 6th and will probably finish 6th....they have 2 matches over tottenham and 2 points less....I really dont see them climbing
But, since portsmouth will play in the europa league next season, by playing the final of the FA Cup, Liverpool will have to win the trophy, europea league, to play in Europea League next season.
Do u understand what i try to say here ?

well, that's what I want to say, I'm glad I was finally understood. If they don't play in europe next season, torres will leave the club, and no major name would join them.

Liverpool will finish 5th, cos they are lucky, i am desperate for them not to get europe at all.

Just as early fa cup debate though, i will start betting again for when that comes round, massive on chelsea. They will win 3-0 easyyyyy

spurs play at home to chelsea, arsenal, bolton and away at city, united and burnley....imo, they have 6 points ensured (bolton and burnley) at least 3 from the matches against ars, utd, che....and god knows what will happen at the match against City...
let;s make it an overall of 10 points.
This means Liverpool has to win all four matches, because if they have the same number of points as spurs, they finish in front, as they have won 2-0 and lost 2-1.
Liverpool has easier matches, that's true : home with west ham and chelsea, and away at Burnley and Hull City. Something tells me they will not win 12 points from this...

Burnley, Hull and West Ham should be easy wins, if they don't win these they deserve to be relegated.

I think having Chelsea at home could help them possible win the match by 1 goal if they play their hearts out, they almost beat United away from home the last time they met. And I think they are huge favorites to win the Europa league as well.

The only troubling thing for Pool fans is that they couldn't score 1 goalvs Fulham at home when Fulham has such a garbage away record...

well, looking at this season's scores, liverpool might drop some points against those 3, I really wouldn't be surprised.
And yes probably Chelsea will be champ by that time, and will afford to lose the match against Liverpool.

1st spot - winner of Carling Cup (in out case the finalist, Aston Villa)
2nd spot - Winner of FA Cup (or runner-up, obviously Portsmouth)
