The last time Chelsea came off a CL loss to Inter they had a similar game they tied Blackburn 1-1. I think the same result happens here, GL.

Awful game, Man U can't create jack shit without Rooney. Might as well rename the team to "Rooney United".

Like I said - this team is pathetic without Rooney. 12 shots on goal, 9 off target...tell me I'm wrong.

Blackburn keeper didn't even have to play today

Better hope for a quick recovery from Rooney otherwise this team ain't going nowhere. Fergy always finds a way though huh?

I can prove you theory wrong by looking at the loses and draws in the prmiership this year.

We have dropped 10 points with Ronney playing alone up front, yet only 5 with Berbatov alone.
With both we have dropped 8 points and with Owen and Rooney we have dropped 6 points.

Uniteds problem has come from the lack of goals in midfield, Chelsea have Lampard who scores regularly, Arsenal have Fabregas- United have knowone.

The Berbatov factor is less important than the faaliure of the midfield to score goials

You can't blame the midfield for Berbatov's lazy playing style. Even the English commentators were criticizing him for standing around upfront when Rooney would rather run around and look for spaces regularly. Berbatov doesn't have to just score to help United, he has to run around creating passes and opening up spaces while stressing out the defense. He's a great player but he's as lazy as they come for a central forward especially at this level.

Maybe United are missing Owen but they need to bring in at least 1 more quality striker like Kalou or Anelka which Chelsea have in case Drogba is out.

No, Hernandez or 'El Chicharito' didn't play and I wouldn't expect to see him in first team action any time soon. At the moment, I wouldn't even rate him ahead of Macheda, Diouf, Tosic, even Welbeck. He'll likely play with our reserves. Honestly hadn't even heard of him until we signed him. Looks like he's decent in the air, but small in frame. Wonder if this just more Glazer marketing when we head over to Mexico for an exhibition in July.

Fergison's transfers have nose dived after assistant Carlos Queiroz has left, i mean Diouf, Obertan, Owen ... not good enough, the squad is weak and becomes more apparent when rooney isnt there to carry the team

Barroco, are you from Mexico or follow the Mexican league? If so, what do think of this kid? Do you see him having success in the premiership? I've only seen what I can from YouTube, but honestly, everyone can be made to look like the next Pele on there.

the main problem i see with Javier Hernández, is that is quite small and doesnt look to strong either, not really the kind of player that suits the English Premier League

Agreed. We all know Queiroz was the real strategist when he was with United. Mike Phelan is just a muppet. SAF has already acknowledged that they rejected a chance to sign David Villa and want to go with younger talent (prospects) which hasn't quited worked out so far. We get £80 for Ronaldo and so far we've spent almost a quarter of it on Smalling and Hernandez

Valencia really should of convertored at least one of the two golden oppurtunities he got in the first half.
