Valencia and Atletico should easily go over 2.5. Both teams can score and can't defend a lick. Both sides are predicting another shoot-out again (league play: 2-2 and 4-1 was it?)
Benfica is my banker (well at least I'm hoping):
Liverpool just aren't the same club this year particularly away from Anfield. They're winless in their last 6 in domestic play (3L, 3D); losses against teams like Wigan, Pompey and a draw at Wolverhampton. It hasn't been any better in European play as well losing at Fiorentina and most recently at Lille. Rafa has gotten his tactics and formation wrong too many times...he may not have many choices to make in his selections this time with Aquilani out and Rodriguez cup-tied. I just don't have any confidence in their travels at the moment and now they are going into one of the most hostile places to play in the Luz, certainly more intimidating than at Lille or even Fiorentina.
Benfica haven't lost at home all of this season going 11-1-0 in league play (have not lost there in almost a calendar year) and another 5-1-0 in European competition. In the 6 home games in UEFA they've banged in a total of 18 goals. Benfica are an underrated team for the most part as they are not in any of the top leagues per se, but they have some solid players up and down their lineup. They'll need to win this one as it will be difficult to get anything at Anfield considering Pool's current form there. But the clincher here: It's Easter time and Benfica is lead by a manager named "JESUS"!!!! Christ, I think the stars are aligned here
good luck with your bet...can see a 2-1 score-line either way..

Where did you get the news that Aquilani is out?
Also, I'm hoping that Rooney is crocked for a month.
Doesnt matter what happens tonight but Liverpool will Qualify and win Europa.

Yea, just checked.
Reckon your lot will turn over Bayern and win the league?
Not with the looks with our attacking options. Looks like Berbatov won't make the bench against Chelsea this weekend as he tweaked his groin. That would leave us with Macheda and Welbeck as our striker options...not exactly ideal for the end stretch...hopefully Kiko still has a few wonder goals left in his bag.
As for the CL, the only positive that I can say is that it's back at Old Trafford and maybe, just maybe, down 2-1 United will be forced to 'win' it rather than playing not to lose...easier said than done obviously as they'll have Robben back but I can't see United's midfield playing any worse than they did. And I think Fergie might be wise to stick Rafael in for Neville to handle Ribery's speed. It was one of the few times I thought Fergie got his tactics wrong when he changed to a 4-4-2 by bringing in Berbatov...that just opened up the midfield even more for Bayern and we made guys like van Bommel look like Maradona.
I'll wait to see how we do against Chelsea and what our striker situation is before I predict anything for us...because right now, it's highly questionable.
...edit: my mate was having an April Fools go at me about Berbatov..should have known, plus he's a Citeh supporter.
