Ok, so I'm not much on Soccer, but I have been looking and found something interesting so here is what im thinking of doing.

I bet on Liverpool ML $178 to win $100 @ Pinnacle = $178 Risked

I also bet on Draw +302 @ 5Dimes Risk $100 to win $302

So I would stand to win 0 and lose 0 if liverpool wins, but if it's a draw I win $122

So basically what I will manage to do is get a free Draw bet on this match.

Since the opinion and my research suggests that either Liverpool wins or it's a draw? Wigan has very little chance of winning correct?


Is this a stupid idea or is there some merit to it?

understand what you are doing. Not a bad call on this. think liver will win this game. but if they don't and lose you have lost both bets..I have done this a couple of times. worked out some not sure if i won or lost units. I am sure someone in here has a % of how this works. Will be interesting to see what people think..BOL to you.. In my case i hope liver wins to finish a big parlay for me..

I think your bet is very safe. I don't see how Liverpool can loose this game with Gerrard, Torres, Benayoun and Kuyt (basically the entire creative offense of Liverpool) on the field. Yes Liverpool are still not as solid as they should be, but they are under pressure with a lot of key players back in the squad.
