Everton vs Sporting Lisbon Disccusion for 2/16
Can someone give me some good information about Sporting Lisbon?? I don't know anything about this team. Right now, line is Everton -1 @ +108. Something tells me this game will end with tie score(my gut feeling even though I dunno anything about Lisbon). Everton will be without Yobo, Arteta, Fellaini, Hibbert, and Jagielka. I don't really follow Everton either so I don't know if those players who I mentioned have been out for awhile now or not...... I just want some action for early game since I am degenearate... lolz... what do you guys think?

Sporting has lost four of their last five. Everton have won three of their last four.

Where did you see Arteta would be out?

    Here is the soccernet preview.

thats not a up to date injury report.

Arteta played against Chelsea in the last match and is healthy. Everton has pretty much a full squad to choose from. Fellaini has been out with the ankle injury

Sporting in bad form, I am big on Everton.

Yeah, I think Arteta should be available. Those other players you've mentioned have been out for a while as well. Everton have been on fire and beat Chelsea at Goodison last match and are a solid play at home. From what I've read about Sporting, Everton should have the clear advantage in the midfield and that's where Everton are most dangerous with Pienaar, Cahill and now Donovan gives them more options. Saha should play as well unless Moyes decides to rest him ahead of their league game with United. I would say 2-0 Everton.

Everton is clearly the better side but this is a Europa game, so that doesn't mean anything! I'd pass.
