Any thoughts on Cluj/Basel over 2.25 -108? This looks like a steal to me. It seems Cluj ought to be reliable for a goal or two, and I find myself saying the same thing about Basel. Neither team is a defensive stalwart. though I suppose Basel looks stronger defensively from a distance.

The new coach of CFR Cluj, Sorin Cartu has the nickname in Romania Liga 1 as the inventor of the ''autobase'', meaning that every team he has trained was playing for 0 - 0. Unfortunately, the last recommended performances of Sorin Cartu were before 1991. Since then, he hasn't done anything notable. In fact, the last ''performances'' of Sorin Cartu are the relegation in the 2nd league with Progresul Bucuresti in 2007, and straight after one year the relegation with Dacia Mioveni, same, to the 2nd league. For me it's a big surprise naming this coach to CFR Cluj, from my point of view i'll bet against CFR and bet under on this team as long as he'll be training there and CFR will be favourites.

mihaita, may i ask why the over in arsenal game? afaik most weaker road teams playing in england will be out for a 0-0 and defending with 10 men.
for example, rangers and manutd both have had over2.5 in their last 6 games (i think) but it turned zero last night.

Okay, sure. Arsenal plays similiar to Barcelona, at home. They can score 3-4 without surprising anyone. And Braga has proved to be a team who is not defending 90 minutes, the best examples are their matches from Uefa Champions League qualifiers, 3-0 with Celtic, 1-2 with Celtic and 4-3 with Sevilla. They cannot play in their half for 90 minutes, as they will be destroyed this way.
Arsenal is naive enough to allow one goal, but strong enough to score at least 2.

Wenger for sure will play for the over. First rounds in CL always have been very important to be wan on the biggest possible difference Arsenal can do. There are tons of reasons to think why Arsenal should go over from the first match. In the group, Arsenal is the favourite, in front of Braga, Partizan Belgrade and Sakhtar Donetsk. Home ground need to satisfy the supporters, then they need good goal average, and also they need clear victories in order to rest some of the most important players from the team. Their road trips will be also important and the winners on home grounds are a must. Arsenal has several problems on road trips, like we saw last year in CL, with PAOK when they draw. Guess they will try to win the games as soon as possible. On 18th of Sep they will have a road trip to Sunderland, 25th of Sep will face Partizan also on a road trip and after 3 days they face West Brom at home. So with these two matches they need two wins and let Partizan, Shakhtar and Braga making problems themselves as they are much weaker teams and can draw easily.

I agree with u! As a Real Madrid gan i can say they´re not playing to make much golas. I think they're going to win! BUt 1-0 or 2-0! I can't see Ajax making a goal. The last games I've seen a good defense from Real. And Ajax without their most dangerous player Luis Suarez.
