Newcastle is almost unbeatable at home, they have not allowed a goal at home in a long time and i tend to think that West Brom is a really good team that chokes against other good teams (Nottingham / Cardiff) Newcastle got some good work in against Plymouth a few days ago in the FA Cup, and i think they will pick right up where they left off in that match.

Not sure about West Brom choking, they have a very good record on the road. Only one
loss since february 2008, in the Championship.
Edit: Sorry, West Brom played in the Premier league in 2008/2009

Just can't get myself to bet on English soccer lately and this past weekend is good reason. Who knows if results are rigged but they sure are unpredictable. I'm finding it much easier playing Italian and Spanish leagues. BTW, few Saudi games on today. BOL

If any leagues are rigged, its the smaller ones. Ex Saudi. Every pro sport has individuals that try and manipulate the score some how some way..The larger the league the lesser the impact. Hence Nate Kaeding last night...

West Brom have the best away record in the division, Newcastle the best home record. Both defences give little away, so looks like a low scoring draw to me. 0-0 and 1-1 combined pays around 3.25 to 1, that'll do for me. BOL

You question the integrity of the English leagues but would place a wager on the Saudi or Italian leagues
No disrespect or anything but no match fixing scandals have come out of England from League 1 and above.
Bury-aldershot was fixed but that was found out before the game, there is so much money in English football that match fixing is almost impossible.
Any dodgy looking games in the premier league are because the players lack passion these days - generally

Sparta, does it worry you at all that Tours beat Le Havre twice at the beginning of the season with Tours at home? I know home and road are two completely different venues, but it concerns me if a team has already beaten them twice.

Not at all, i think this is a great spot for Le Havre, they need a win and Tours in poor form right now.

Ref. just called a fake offsides on Newcastle player, you could tell it was going to be the winning goal.
Even the announcer agreed it wasn't offsides. LOL
And WHO was preaching that bullshit earlier about English games not being fixed?

OMG Newcastle just almost took the lead in the 93rd minute off a free-kick, goalie barely kept it out with the tip of his fingers.
Shoulda known! Oh well! Back to NBA & CBB!

OMFG what a run by Guiterrez in the 94rd minute! But he cannot finish AND was fouled for yet another missed PK call by the ref.
