How sick was it that the Togo players were shot btw? Buss-driver died and one player hospitalized I think.

I think this game is starting to "set" now. Could mean few goals but by the looks of it CDI will pull out the win.

I think the AHP line on ivory coast will drop rapidly if they don't start of the 2nd half ambitious.

I've been gone for a while now, but I've got a pick for today.
1) Egypt vs Mozambique O 2.5. I personally do not trust the Egyptians to do anything more than a QF run in this tournament. However, they will continue to steam roll through this group. History has shown that Egypt absolutely owns the so called "minnows" of African football. Unlike Nigeria, Cameroon, and Ghana - Egypt rarely stumbles against teams that they are favored to beat. It is against equal or stronger opposition that Egypt really starts to crap itself. With that said, the over for this game is the best call. The Egyptian offense is still potent without Zaki, Mido, and Alboutreika. In fact, Zaki and Mido have been total wastepipes of late when playing for Egypt. The likes of Zidan and Moteeb are good enough to score 2 or 3 against Mozambique.
I watched Mozambique 4 times in the qualifers (against Nigeria and Tunisia). They are tough act at home in Mapoto (see their win and draw vs Nigeria and Tunisa). But away from home, they are more then pedestrian. Even though Nigeria didn't beat them emphatically in Abuja nor Tunisa in Rades, it was clear that Mozambique is a team that can be had away or at a neutral site. Their defenders are strong but lack discipline and awareness. And if their is one thing that Egypt preys on, it is naive defenses. Look at what they did to Nigeria last week and Cameroon and Ivory Coast in 2008. They have enough skill to pass the ball around more physically imposing teams, and the smarts to expose their lack of cohesion.
Egypt will take this one going away (might want to take the ML if you put up enough units). I think they will put in 2 or 3, and mozambique will sneek in at least 1 in.

I wanted to get involved in that game, but I can't get into any game involving Nigeria. They are bad luck for me, I have several mini heart attacks every time I watch a Nigerian game that I am on.
