    Liverpool question....any thoughts???
Just wondering....is anyone playing on Liverpool today....or is this too much money to wager for a small return?? i realize its a lot, but i see almost no way they lose and therefore a nice way to make a small bit of change.....can anyone offer better advice? thanks!!!

Well you would have been correct to bet on them. Had I seen this post, I would have agreed with you that there was no way they could lose this game with their Champions League future depending on the game. Alas, they're out anyway.

I wouldn't be surprised if they do win the Europa league, they are at that level at the moment and Torres would kill any team.

We won't win anything if our fans start hounding Rafa out of the club for the results over the past few months.
I guess even we have a bunch load of fickle fans.
          Depressing stuff.

Bring in the Magician Guus! Or maybe if Wenger goes without a Trophy again, we should go for Guus. I really want Arsenal to win the CL.

liverpool has lot of internal problems, but they should sort things out by midway through the season.

Transfer window in Januray could have some revelations for Liverpool.

i still wait to see torres and gerrard playing at the same time. benayoun should play from the 1st minute, and benitez is doing, as alway, to many experiments

Not a great year for Liverpool, but I'd make a futures bet on them to win the Europa league....if I could find that kind of bet anyway. Anybody know a book that has lines for Europa league?

Skrtel/Carragher/Insua playing shit. Aurelio should be playing. Benitez selling Alonso and Arbeloa has stuffed things up and Aquilani is??? The guy needs to bring something come the derby. I heard Liverpool were in for Falcao, they need a player like him. The guy puts the ball in the net, they need to learn not to be so reliant on Torres.

Need to get healthy...but I've never been a big Rafa fan...I'm a pretty big supporter of the scousers, as big of one you can be from the states...Rafa's experimenting ways have never served pool well...and really, his affection for mediocre talent will be the end of his liverpool days...he's been put in a tough rut with the finances, and he has been limited as well known in that regard...I just don't like him...the only great thing he's really done is win the CL and bring in Torres. He has done nothing in the EPL, and Liverpool deserve better. If Gillette and Hicks can't figure out how to give money to the club for players, then they should sell to someone who can.
