Impossible to make money at low odds
I would bet nobody on this board has made a profit in the 1.0-1.7 odds range after 1000+ bets. I crush it at higher odds but no matter what I do the lower odds are just utterly worthless(read: break even if you're decent). For example I had Young Boys @2.75 which won 5:1, classic high confidence value pick. Then there was Mannheim @1.07 which I grabbed blindly for value because other books like 365 had them at 1.01(-10000 for you yanks). They lost 2:0, I grabbed the dog live at evens to get out of that mess.

Anyway, it doesn't matter what market I choose, low odds are always bad news. I know a couple of very sharp guys and 98% of their bets are above the worthless odds range, I don't think that's a coincidence.

how much did u put on the 1.07

answer is no btw. 1.50 is gonna have value if say you get to pick 28 roulette numbers instead of 24.

How can you remember that? I had to dig into my history to find a thread from November. Back then I just said I hated low odds, now I say it's impossible to make money from them. You can check your thread and see how much you made below 1.7, I bet it's not much because those odds are a waste of goddamn time. I'd rather hit 50% at 2.5 than 60% at 1.7 and that's what I do.

And what is your example supposed to mean? You don't get those odds at roulette and you can't hit 85% by picking favs or totals at 1.5 no matter what. If you're a soccer genius in the top 0.1% you may be able to hit 70% at 1.5 but if not you're better off with the higher odds because apparently the market isn't as efficient there.

Come on Gaze, you've abandoned every thread you ever made. The only thing you crushed is your poor mothers' hope of you finding a real job.
