What exactly is he betting? Sorry for such an ignorant question, but having never bet really bet on soccer I want to make sure I understand.

-0 is the same as PK or Pick. so in this case he picks italy to win by any number of goals. this is different than a ML as a draw results in a push.

So if you bet $100 on -0, -1/2, then $50 is on -0 and $50 is on -1/2? If the teams tie you lose $50?

For example:

Spain -2½,-3 -121 means if you bet $242 and Spain wins by 3 you get $121 back and win $221 from the other half of the bet?
