Slovakia ML +169 over Wales
I usually wait until the second round to bet a tournament but this jumped out at me. I am betting a little amount based partly on the recent form for each team. Even though the most recent matches for each team were friendlies, Slovakia looked to be in better form.

Also from what I am reading from other punters Slovakia is looking to be in the top 2 finishers of this competition. I think they come out well here.

Bale had a nice penalty kick early on but Duda has come in for Slovakia and after only a few minutes of playing he evens up the score.

I wouldn't say they are over-hyped, because there's no hype surrounding them anyways . At least I didn't notice it.

I did't bet this one. It was too difficult to call. And the game could pretty much go either way afetr that equalizer by Duda. Slovakia put a lot of pressure to score the second goal after that, but it didn't work out for them in the end.

I'm aware of how some teams lay off friendlies. I was thinking they seemed to be putting in good effort that would continue and Wales was not.

Well yesterday I did say there would be 2 unders and an over there's one under. Now Wales vs Slovakia. I really like Wales here to surprise this group and fight hard for 2nd place in front of Russia this may be a perfect game to get some great odds for the Welsh side behind the amazing talent of Christian Bale who we all should know from our original parlay who manged to score 2 goals in a come from behind victory for Real Madrid a few months back as well as Aaron Ramsey a star midfielder for EPL Arsenal. Now looking at Slovakia this according to most another one-man team I'm not sold on that they have many strengths as well as weaknesses common to many teams but their biggest threat is Marek Hamsik who is a great goal scorer and will look to strike for the Slovaks. My tip...

First half ends as good as can be expected I guess. This Russian squad doesn't impress me at all. Perhaps they can "park the bus" in the second half and hope for a nil-nil draw.

A more likely scenario is England going forward with numbers and Russia scoring on a counter. 0-1 Russia, perhaps 1-1 if England gets lucky.

Nice call on England choking it, Frugal!

I can't believe Hodgson didn't replace Kane with Vardy at the start of the second half. He was pathetic today. Deschamps showed some serious balls yeesterday, pulling Pogba 15 minutes to go, because he was hogging the ball entire match. It was rewarded with a win and Hodgson was punished for his incompetence.

Russia is just awful. I have respect for Slutsky, trying to inforce more attacking football, but he simly doesn't have enough talent in this squad to pull it of.

The thing is, I jumped on England -110 when the line came out. Just purely based on the fact that Russia is talentless garbage. But then I started looking at why the line was holding steady, and I started to read up on England. Once I saw their stats in Euro openers, coupled with who is coaching them, that game was a disaster written all over it. So I almost completely hedged out, and hedged out even more after the first fluky goal by England. Seriously, no Vardy ?

Anyways, Russia still should not qualify from this group. I think Slovakia can take them, and Wales too. If Russia somehow gets into the elimination rounds, I'll be fading them with everything I have. England is a good fade too, unless Vardy starts vs Wales.
