Chuda-Thanks...this is where you really need a player like Benteke someone who can hold the ball...Abonglahor is a fast break counter attack striker, not someone to hold the ball and get the team up the field. I think Delph is an underrated player still, he adds an element to this team that gives oppositions a tough time.Comment -
Lambert actually made a semi-attacking move by taking off a holding midfielder in sanchez for Darren Bent. He then put agbonlahor on left wing and cleverely came in more central. and it was agbonlahor in tht left wing position who didnt spot the run of clyne early enough and didnt get to ball in time...to be fair agbonlahor was probably very tired from playing on his own up front all game before tht so wasnt concentrating fully. So it could be argued tht Lambert was at fault for making tht substitution and positional changewill never understand managers...1 - 0 up at home = everyone in box to sock up pressure - loosing tactics.

I also bet the under 2.5 goals. I follow the college American football a lot and they say that a team with a supposed easy game followed by a difficult game means the side always takes the first game for granted and looks ahead to the difficult game. I think this was the case for Southampton (they're playing Man City on Sunday). Plus Southampton have had 2 weeks of hearing how great they all are which further decreases their concentration.
