Okay tonight's game: Melbourne victory - Sydney fc


Massive game this one, and I'm expecting plenty of goals.

Can we have a whole round of a league going under 2.5??? I don't think so!!

Melbourne posses the best attack in the league, meanwhile Sydney fc have a solid defense, but I feel they'll leave their defense at home as they try to attack melbournes weak defense with the likes of janko and ibini.


Melbourne playing at home gives them a massive advantage, but of odds of only 1.75 against a quality Sydney fc is a bit risky.

My plays:


PLAY 1: 3 units over 2.5 @ 1.72

PLAY 2: 1 unit Melbourne Victory to win and BTTS @ 3.30

PLAY 3: 0.5 units over 3.5 @ 2.88

some good picks. spewing about my 2 today. gonna hammer perth glory women tomo, they have made me bulk $ in the past. it is the play offs and could end 0-0 but i dont see that happening, they completely destroyed syd on their own ground a few weeks back.

Sorry about being away guys, I've been extremely busy, as most people this time of the year, and haven't been able to post!

I hope everyone's been doing well, and winning in a league!!

I am going to try and start posting all my plays again to give you guys some knowledge and help use out.

For the Newcastle - Melbourne city game I was on the btts, but never mind that as there's no good saying it once the games over.

For tonight's game however.

Brisbane roar - Sydney fc

Brisbane looks like they may be finding some form, meanwhile after Sydney's terrific start to the season, injuries have hit them and they haven't won in 6 games!

Although Sydney lose Antonis tonight, and are playing away with some horrible form, they have a class coach, and some class players (janko (Austrian captain), ibini, schmeltz) etc and I can't see them not winning a game and turning around that form anytime soon.

Brisbane on the other hand are overrated. Yes they have been the best a league team for the past couple of years, but they've lost the two coaches who they were successful with, they've lost berisha, franjic, broich etc and I believe the current squad is not all that class.

They showed that they can concede after allowing ccm to put 3 past them last game, and I think Sydney's attack force will be too much. Graham Arnold should also make the right adjustments to make sure the Sydney defense is right.

Tonight's New Years so don't have much time to write a wrote up for the game, but My plays are:

1 unit Adelaide united ML @ 1.7

1 unit over 2.5 @ 1.75

Not the best odds on both but Adelaide playing at home should be able to get the win, and we all know Wellington can score, so potentially a few goals in this one.

personally if your gonna play perth its gotta be perth dnb/pick. lots of value. no reason to take the +1. Sure could end in a draw but you go back to square one if that happens. if +1 hits yeah your up but its just not worth the risk of a very likely chance melbourne win. rather take the dnb chances.

Melbourne victory ML for me.

Everyone seems to be on Perth, and they are a quality side but Melbourne posses a lot more fire power, and playing at home in the heat is a massive advantage for them.

Melbourne victory ML @ 2.10 is good value I believe.

This match is being held in Wollongong, New South Wales, so no much of home advantage. as well as Sydney has plenty of squad issues, with likes Ognenovski, Carle, Abbas, Gameiro out and Terry Antonis now going for Asian duty. Matthew Jurman could play but his fitness is questionable... they are coming from tough away 0 - 0 game and they haven`t scored in last 3 games at all.
yes, Jets sucks, they have worth defensive record and after being trashed at home by 5 goals but it doesn`t mean teams don`t turn things around.
every one tipping sydney to win, and they head to head record is far superior
i am thinking to make few bets:

btts and draw @ 5 ...0.5u
Timecast : Marc Janko to score first in 1 - 20 minutes @ 16 ...0.33u

basically i believe Jets could score today as well as sydney, that would make me 2 pricey free bets with a chance.
i haven`t watch neither side for a while now, so don`t know are jets really that bad. if you say they`ve no chance than i would try BTTS and sydney instead @ 4 ...?
