They are a relatively young and inexperienced raw talented team, although Uruguay are missing their star man they still have enough experience and resilience to hurt teams and defend doggedly. So far we've only seen the Columbia side who win by 3+ goals against weak teams and were allowed to run riot, this is a different challenge all together.

The only way to end the Suarez's saga is for Uruguay to be ko. Ref will likely be on Colombia side. But I don't think they need it though. Colombia has a good coach and a good core of players, should beat Uruguay.

Colombia beat those "weak" teams handedly, like they were supposed to. Although calling Ivory Coast "weak" is a stretch.

I knew Colombia could score but its defense and defensive organization has suprised me. This group is well coached.

These two teams know each other. Colombia dominated them for 165 minutes, Uruguay scored twice in the last 15 minutes...thanks to defensive break downs from players no longer on this roster.
You better believe Pekerman will have a proper gameplan and the squad has bought in to whatever the "professor" says.

Backing Uruguay because theyre more "expierenced" is nonsense. Colombia's players have top flight european league experience which is worth more than international experience.

I think also think we see lots of cards in first Uruguay match after expelling Suarez. Colombia doesnt flop as much or foul hard and a big part of Uruguayan football is toughness and a hardnose approach to defense.

Lots of calls will likely go Colombia's way and theyve shown they can score from set pieces.
