Going to start a thread for all of my World Cup plays, I've placed a couple of future group bets so I guess ill post them now

1.) Croatia to advance at 2.140, 3 Units
-Croatia was one of the best teams at euro 2012, unfortunate to be in spain and italys group, here they just have to beat a mexican side that struggled to qualify. Also one of the best midfields in the tournament.

2.) Switzerland to advance at 1.662, 3 units
Just a much more solid team than ecuador, very solid midfield, trio of them play at napoli together, solid cb in schar and lichtsteiner is a very good outside back.
3.) Switzerland to Win the Group at 3.630, 1 Unit
The Swiss are solid, no ribery + the habitual problems the french run into see it as a good value play.
4.) Bosnia to advance at 1.826, 3 units
Again, just the second best team in the group, Nigeria and Iran do not look impressive, and bosnia should be able to pick up the full 6 points
5.) Prop bet, No African teams to advance to final 16 at 5.470, 1 Unit
Ivory coast is the only African team IMO that can advance so 5.5 to essentially bet against ivory coast to advance again saw good value.

Tomorrows picks:Going heavy on Croatia, if they dont get the win tomorrow they'll be as good as out, mandzukic back in the line up adds the focal point they were lacking against brazil. Australia is physically solid and I think Holland will have to wear them down, Chile needs to get a draw tomorrow, and will play spain tough, in 2010 were robbed after the infamous torres dive.

Australia doesn't have the same luxury of starting with a blank slate like they did before the loss to Chile. They have to play incredibly aggressive to have any chance at being able to try and salvage something from this WC. I don't subscribe to the notion that the teams ranked significantly lower than most that make the WC are just 'happy to be there'. Socceroos gotta come out gunning, not that that's any better for them than sitting back...I'd probably no-play the first half and look to the full match, or take a bunch of props instead. But hey, that's me. One thing I will say, is that the Dutch came to send a message. They don't need Ruud doing coverage to have someone to speak for them, their play has and will continue to. Arjen especially knows this is it for him. He won't be anywhere near the player he is now in 4 years.

To think australia is going to come out gunning from the start is unrealistic, typically teams in there position will try to "shorten" the game, play solid defensively picking spots on the counter, and at about the 70th minute mark then start taking shots to find a goal. Also holland has not shown that they can break a team down, spain continually got caught on the counter, something I believe Australia will not let happen, but I guess tomorrow will give us the answer

Well you were right about Australia attacking from the start... but the 1st half came in anyway, I just dont think the dutch are THAT good, they smashed spain, but I feel that they spent a lot of time tailoring themselves to play spain. ( Playing and training using a 3-5-2, that was shown to be effective against spain in euro 2012 w/ italy) I think Chile will give holland a tough game as well, hopefully the spanish get knocked out, cant stand to see them win another

Well last couple days have been a DISASTER, on top of that broke my ankle at soccer so hopefully my luck changes here, kinda chasing but also pretty confident in the plays, if these dont come in, seriously considering being done for the WC
