Been looking for a decent future prop from this year's World Cup.

Here's the math. Let's produce something good out of this.

48 matches in the group stage, 6 matches in each of 8 the groups.
15 matches in knockout stage, to knock out 15 out of the 16 remaining.
1 extra for the 3rd place match.

So a total of 64 games. Putting them against the 155 line, the average brings a bit over 2.4 goals per game.

There's a couple of mismatches in the group stage itself where presumably most of the points towards this average will come from.

I assume that it's the 90+30 full time + extra time frame which is counted. It's not specified at Pinny but other books offer this prop on the full 120 min frame.

Price is -120 at Pinnacle.

few things, scoring has dipped every year since 1994 which were the first year 3 points were awarded for a win. 2010 we had 145 goals total, i believe these props dont include extra time. why the hell is it 155 or 155.5 at most shops? seems awfully high, the opening match totals seem even lower then usual as well.

I don't see any teams getting crush by 6 or 7 goals, do you? Last year, Tahiti was amazing at the Copa Lib.

australia seem like the best candidates to get spanked hard IMO. iran is going to play tight against argentina, i guess that could get out of control if argentina cracks them early.

your assuming wrong, extra time frame is never included in these bets

Teams losing 2-0, 3-0 isn't a problem. It's the games that end up 4-3 or 3-2 that add up.
