Sure, but going by current form and how the season has gone in Spain, I don't think Atletico has to be any more concerned playing Barca then Barca would be playing them with 1 day less to recover as well. They take the Cup seriously in Spain, unlike in some other competitions.Comment -
still Jonas + Banega out, and Atlético has rested over the holidays with no games played. And it's a HOME game to Barca not an AWAY game.
And it's an equally important game for Barca who are still dragging several injuries and going away to play at a place that so far has been death to every team who's played there this season.Comment -

Simeone plays for everything this season, he is super ambitious and ready to do whatever it needs to prove himself and the team's quality. He has named now full squad, and I won't be surprised if he fields a strong team. Playing Costa would mean game over for Valencia defense. This guy is world class, I repeat world class to the level of Messi and Ronaldo. So you guys chill out, wait for the starting 11s, then decide or play live.

Atlético has never been as good as they are now though. They beat Real Madrid at home. Something Atlético had managed once before back in 1999 with over 70% of the meetings between the two teams prior to this fall being RM victories by more then one goal.Comment -
I wouldn't bet pre game for At Madrid, if Arda Turan won't start from beginning. Maybe I'm looking emotional because he is a true Galatasaray player, but definitely Atletico plays more solid and decisive with him. Also Valencia needs not ONE not TWO but THREE in this game to even be able to advance in Copa del Ray which means if Atlético even get's one Valencias chances of going through turns to ZERO
I also don't see anyone in Valencias troop to get them the THREE they need against Atlético unless Simione plays his b-squad but looking at the team choosen to travel he hasn't done that.Comment -
