His goal was to win, they didn't they got 3rd.. so now he withdraws from investing more into the club and sells half the team.. Eto to Chelsea.. Willian to Chelsea.. etc... so now they're trash.

He wanted to win ( which he was kinda close but there was no team chemistry so they couldn't win in year 1.. ) and he wanted to get into champions league, and you know.. if he would manage to get out of groups in UEFA with all the talented players he would make decent amount of money and attract more stars into the team.. unfortunately Eto can't save Anzhi, the players in Anzhi came for the money.. no passion. Thnk about it, how many Dagestani people did you see play when Anzhi was at the top.. now that he's focusing on " local talent " they'll be back where they belong.. in a trash league of Russia.
