You seem like you have a real good idea of how the teams look at things, my reasoning for the Uruguay v Jordan team tonight is that Uruguay will still put their best foot forward and that all the players in the team will be eager to completly bury Jordan further in front of their home crowd i don't see them letting off the gas even for a second.

                  You?
I do agree with you but a bit more hesitant on this one. I do feel as if Uruguay will put there best foot forward as well. However, the line is outrageous. I got it last night at -2.5 (-148) and see it has shot up over night to 3 or 3.5 depending on where you look. That is a lot of goals and fear if they don't get 4 in the first half the play could be a loss of a push as they pull people in the 2nd half to rest. Just like Mexico earlier, they let up a bit in the 2nd half and conceded to PK's. This one is a bit tougher for me as the SA teams love 2-0 games for some ungodly reason!

So plays I'm considering outside of the -2.5 I already place. Over 3 goals -120 (not total which is at 3.5), FT/HT Uruguay -350. Over 3.5 -138

                  Good luck on your play.

Good points. Jordan also did not look nearly as bad as NZ in the first game. Yeah, they allowed 5 goals but they played hard. Are Suarez and Cavani going to play today or is it going to be the B-team ? I might only bet live on this one.

That's a good point too but that was NZ on the road which is essentially the same situation Jordan finds itself in. I think they have too much fire power and the stadium will be packed. Don't forget…. this is what the country lives for….. as do most SA countries. Suarez and Cavani are on the roster and I SUSPECT that will get just about normal playing time….. why? Because they are playing in front of their fans for the last match before the WC. They know they are going to Brazil and I think they will be loose for the match and put a couple in for the home fans.

I often hear people say teams have nothing to play for because they are already through to the next round, made the playoffs, etc. To a degree this is true, BUT at the end of the day they are professional athletes and their DNA is to win. Once they step on the field, it is not about standings or records, its about winning and I believe this to be true even more so for soccer. Think, NZ scored last night to make it 3-2. Mexico fired right back and made it 4-2. Not because there was fear of not qualifying but because of their competitive spirit. IMO anyway.

All the plays noted above I have locked in…..which means its a loser!

Way off on this one…. Uruguay doesn't appear to care in the slightest. I will get buried with this game. Oh well. Ha.
